I've been M.I.A for a minute because school came and with a new school comes boys and homework. But once I came across this, I had to stop what I was doing and post it. I'll catch ya'll up on my ish later, though.
Eh, video coulda been a little better. Maybe a shot or two of all of them together..but overall, I enjoyed. Great song; Good video. Definitely not Hype Williams' best work.
Don't my babies look sexy?(Drake and Eminem) Haha.
That was a trending topic on Twitter today. Lil Duval made this a trending topic. Out of all people, Lil Duval?! Yes, because even with him being a comedian, he believes some shit just ain't funny. Some people really cross the line of being funny and being cruel.
Before I continue, here's some back story on Maia Campbell. She played Tiffany Warren on the 90s sitcom In The House with LL Cool J. Earlier this year the 32 year old actress was video taped nude and nude pictures of her surfaced the area along with a story claiming that she was sleeping on Venice beach and smoking methadone. This morning some more videos surfaced throughout the Internet of her in a car with a man and the story is now, that she is also a prostitute.
Now, for me, this story isn't a laughing matter. She obviously has a serious problem and my prayers go out to her. It is also said that she has schizophrenia, which is a psychiatric diagnosis that describes a mental disorder characterized by abnormalities in the perception or expression of reality. Distortions in perception may affect all five senses, but most commonly manifest as auditory hallucinations, paranoid or bizarre delusions, or disorganized speech and thinking with significant social or occupational dysfunction.
One of the videos that I could stand to watch, showed her yelling at the man holding the camera and yelling obscenities. I just don't understand how someone could laugh at this. I can comprehend you just not caring because you don't know her personally, but openly making fun of the situation? That is very juvenile and inconsiderate.
I saw tweets making fun of the #Pray4MaiaCampbell trending topic. Saying things like pray for my shoes, pray for this artists career, pray for this or that. It just sickens me to see how careless my generation can be. If anything you should have enough respect not to say shit. I mean DAMN. Do you really need that much attention?
Ugh. I just needed to let my feelings OUT. Twitter only allows 140 characters per status.
My prayers go out to Maia and all fallen women like her.
So, I always shop online or just browse when I get bored. And it dawned on me; Make it a blog post.
I went to the websites for Wet Seal, Great Glam, and Deb to find the top ten most hottest homecoming dresses for under $60! Hey, it's a recession, people.
A mixtape video, but what can you say? It was a mixtape song. She looks gorgeous and I like it. I wonder if she'll use any of the Beam Me Up Scotty songs on her LP...
Now, if Pharrell ain't one of the dopest people EVER, I don't know who is. He is a producer, singer, songwriter, rapper, and fashion designer. He is one of my idols because he climbed his way to the top without sacrificing his views or his individuality. He does what he does without trying to fit in with other artists. And he could get the business.
Pharrell Williams(born April 5, 1973), commonly known as Pharrell, is an American recording artist, producer, musician and fashion designer. Along with Chad Hugo, they make the record production duo The Neptunes, where they produce pop, hip hop and R&B music. He is also the lead vocalist and drummer of rock band N.E.R.D, which he formed with Hugo and childhood friend Shay Haley. He released his debut single "Frontin'" in 2003 and followed up with his debut album In My Mind in 2006.
As part of The Neptunes, Williams has produced numerous hit singles for various music artists. The Neptunes have earned three Grammy Awards amongst ten nominations. He is also the co-founder of the clothing brands Billionaire Boys Club and Ice Cream Clothing.
Well, dayum. When I first heard that former B2K member Lil Fizz, Dreux Frédéric, and J-Boog, Jarell Houston, had a new song and video I thought "what the fuck for"? But after seeing and hearing, I am a believer. This is actually a hot song and video! This song will be featured in the dumbass Bring It On movie starring Christina Millian. They might actually have a career as a singing duo. They were always the sexiest ones in the group.
Okay, okay. Who didn't think Nicki Minaj would sign to Young Money/Universal? But at one point I was doubting that Drake would(as much as I wanted him to). Well, she made the official announcement today.
“I am honored to have Nicki Minaj as Young Money’s First Lady. She is a star,” Lil Wayne said in a statement.
The battle among labels to sign Minaj reached its peak this summer and finalized with Minaj signing an exceptional and very unique deal with Young Money/Universal, where she retains and owns all of her 360 rights, including merchandising, sponsorships, endorsements, touring, and publishing.
“To say I’m excited would be an understatement. It’s validation. It’s proof. It’s empowerment. I represent every little girl in a ’hood near you,” stated Minaj. “To everyone that supported me two years ago when I was on underground mixtapes and DVDs and to the people that only caught on two weeks ago, I say thank you. Be proud of yourself. You’ve given girls all around the world the permission to change the face of female rap.”
Minaj’s debut album is scheduled for an early 2010 release and will be distributed through Universal Motown.
Good luck, Nicki! I'm definitely rooting for you and(almost)all of YM!
Yesss! The most anticipated video of the summer, Successful, was released this morning on MTV. Is it me or is this video missing something....Oh yeah; WAYNE. Wtf?
Just like I said, Drake looks like he's acting a little "hard" if you ask me. But maybe that's the way he felt when he wrote it. Who knows..
And if you havn't noticed, the song has been altered slightly giving Trey more than just the hook to sing. I'm sure you know why, but if you don't; for some(dumb)reason, Drake did not want Successful on his greatly awaited LP. Trey(being slightly smarter than Drake)jumped on the chance to have it on his CD, Ready.
The video is actually GOOD, though. Despite no Wayne and Drake playing roles. I really like it. It's simple and mysterious. They both look good, so job well done.
I know, I know. I'm a day late, but a tribute is still due.
My all time fave video of his. He was still sexy to me even with the pale skin and barely there nose.
My second favorite video. His shyness and dancing is sexy. He always had an appeal to me, no matter what he looked like or what he "did". This is the original version by the way..so it's kind of long.
Michael performing Remember The Time at the Soul Train Awards. He's sitting because he sprained his ankle prior to the performance.
Ha. I remember when me, my mommy, and my daddy watched it live. The TV was blasting and we never once turned the channel. This has to be my fave Michael moment. Him, Usher, and Chris Tucker. Wow. He will truely be missed.
R.I.P. Michael Joseph Jackson. The greatest entertainer of all time.
According to Rihanna Daily, this is a sneak peak of Rihanna’s spread from the September 2009 issue of Vogue Italy. Rihanna had been in talks to do a feature with Vogue Italy for some time but it was rumored that they pulled out after her nude photos were leaked on line. Well, she finally did the shoot last month. Get it, Ri.
Cassie has always had sex appeal since she made her Me And You Video, but ever since she shaved half of her head, her sex appeal has risen dramatically. Even, though the haircut was a little weird, it began to grow on us and fellow celebrities. She is definitely a attention whore, but she deserves it.

This is the last edition to the Fly Ass Chick. Next month's segment will be called Dopest Idols. A line-up of my idols, what makes them dope idols, and there bio's.
So, what can I say about Mister Steezy? Well, he's a perv. But the coolest perv you'll ever meet. I haven't known him for that long, but(even though this sounds sooo weak)it feels like I've known him forever and a day. There's honestly no one out there remotely close to him. He makes me laugh and he always argues with me, which I have no problem with. To sum it all up; I like this dudee.= )
Chanel Iman, Jourdan Dunn, Arienis Sosa, and Sessilee Lopez grace the cover of i-D magazine for the September issue. The reason for having the four most prominent young black models on the cover; Because last years "black issue" of Vogue Italia in July sold so fast a re-print was ordered to cope with the demand. Good luck to them, PYTs.= )
Besides her losing her mind after Chris whooped the hell out of her, she is hella fly. She went from the cute little girl who wore baggy pants in her Pon De Replay video to the hot, eccentric vixen who made an Umbrella sexay.

Okay, ya'll are probably like "WTF? She is always blogging about Drake" But ya'll don't understand! Jimmy was my baby the first season of Degrassi back in '01. Well anyways, this video is HOT. Mary looks beautiful and Drake does his thang like always. I'm a little surprised that she used autotune, but hey I'm not with that D.O.A movement ish. So do yo thang, ma.
Behind the scenes of the anticipated Successful video. To me it seems as if Aubrey is acting more than being himself. Maybe because he's an actor his instinct is to act what the words are saying once the camera starts rolling. Regardless, it looks like this video will be a success, unlike Best I Ever Had.
Twitter does it AGAIN. About a week or so ago Lil Twist of Young Money tweets some ish about Omarion has been dropped from YM and he wishes him the best. Wtf? Didn't this nigga JUST announce that he was in the shit? His career is officially dead. Rumor has it that Omarion leaked a song with him and Lil Wayne; Bad move, homie. Omarion tweeted a couple days after Lil Twist saying that he did not get dropped. He left because that was the best move for his career at that point.= / Negro, PLEASE. He was gone in a week. Hopefully Bow stays with YM and his sales go up. Good luck.
Whassup?!?! Whew. I just got back from my trip to New York. So, I apologize for the lack of blogging. Well, I had fun. We stayed in the suburbs(a ways away from NYC I might add)but we briefly visited the city. Did some shopping and everything. But I still want to have that REAL New York experience. Stay in the heart of the city, shop, shop, shop, and partay. I guess that can wait, though. The one thing I love about New York, though, is that it is SO diverse. Like, the biggest damn melting pot. So many flavors to choose from, ya dig?;-)
Whitney Houston is officially back. She's working on a new CD and just look at her! She has returned to the beautiful women she was years ago. Getting rid of Bobby did her some good. Hopefully she still sounds as good as she looks.
So, Mr. Steezy (Check Him Out) introduced me to the How Fly mixtape by Curren$y and Wiz Khalifa. I downloaded it and I listened. I was pleased. Pleased and impressed. I've heard Curren$y before but it was the first time I've heard Wiz Khalifa. I don't have much criticism yet because I havn't made it through all the songs(I have a short attention span)but I don't have anything bad to say. My favorite track so far is Planes. But yeah, go check it out.
This chick you might not know. Her name is Naomi. You may know her by another name; Nomee, Big Nome, or Ridonkulous. Lol. Peep the pic of me and her.
So she's 16 and is a little crazy. Born and raised in Detroit, Michigan. But hey; no one's perfect. She is extra super smart and will keep you laughing. She may yell at electronics and she might even imagine a donk that's not there, but she's definitely one fly ass chick.
The second fly chick is Nicki Minaj. Not only is she sexy, but she's a bomb ass rapper as well. She has the sex appeal and racy lyics like Lil Kim or Trina but she also has the gangster girl style like Remy Ma or Rah Digga. Peep the pic of her and fly chick number one.

I call it the Black Cinderella. This was my favorite movie back in the VHS days. And this is the best song in the movie. Brandy and Whitney Houston killed it.
It's 11:33 in the a.m. and I havn't been sleep since about 11 last night. I've been on Facebook just talkin'. My brain is fried, yo. But anyways, I was thinkin' this would be a good time to formally introduce myself. The names is A'ja and I'm the shiznit, dudee. I reside in the Motorcity, right between the one street and that street right there. If you read the blog, you'll find out more. Like that I'm goofy, addicted to boys and clothes and music, and that I'm Bomb Diggity Phresh. Ahhh, Peace and hair grease.
